After a sweet night of celebration and DJing at Smash, I went to the Honen Matsuri which is also known as the Penis Festival. Giant phalluses are paraded around the town religiously. Many other countries do this too. Apparently, two train stops down was the Vagina Festival...

Featured is the crowd grabbing rice balls thrown by the priests from a high platform. People went.... ahem... nuts.
