Marathon Man

Not me. Him!

It's normal for me to bump into the odd jogger on my weekend trip down to Portobello beach, but this morning was just ridiculous!

It was of course, the second day of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, a weekend of races in the capital, including the 26 miles of the full marathon which took place this morning. A glorious weekend for it, although I would think wee bit cooler would have favoured the runners. Kings Road was placed at about five and a half miles in and was the first of the race water stops.

I suspect a few people swapped the camera for the running shoes today, but a special mention to our very own Glicious who completed the course today. I'm sure she wouldn't mind a late plug for her sponsorship. Well done G, and to everyone else who took part today. A massive achievement!

Well today I well and truly beat my phobia about shooting strangers although given the circumstances it probably doesn't really count! :- ) I took an extra card down with me today, just in case. And it was just as well. I came back with 1377 images! Hahaha, and some were actually ok. And sooc! :- ) Sorry, G. I did keep an eye out for you but I don't think I caught you.
