Book Club

Just back from book club where we discussed Elephant Moon by John Sweeney. The story is set in Burma during the Second World War and is about a herd of 53 elephants helping a young English schoolteacher to rescue a band of orphans and transport them to the safety of India. ... It was fairly interesting but not gripping. I've chosen our next book: We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler. I've heard it's very good. I find it slightly stressful trying to find a book I think we will all like!
