Dunnock (or hedge sparrow)

Birdwatching class today at Liberton. Highlight was undoubtedly the skylarks singing, but that doesn't really qualify as a blip!
This bird on a hedge looked much larger than it really is. It's a Dunnock, sometimes known as a hedge sparrow, although it isn't a sparrow at all. Usually a very shy bird, its spring - so the males are all singing, and this one was no exception.
Not my best photo, but it is a good reminder of a lovely walk.
