Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

I'd completely forgotten that it was St. Patrick's Day, but the boys remembered and were keen for us to have an Irish dinner (with Guinness to accompany it). I delved in the freezer and found some lamb, and together we threw together an approximation of an Irish stew. 

Lizzy helped me make a loaf of soda bread, something I used to bake many years ago. We improvised with a mix of plain and spelt flours, milk soured with lemon juice and two tablespoons of black treacle, I'd forgotten quite how delicious it is, still warm from the oven...

So good to hear from Joe today  - it sounds as though Blipfoto still has a good chance of continuing. Tomorrow there's a plan to produce a show of solidarity using the #blipfotoforever tag. Further details are available on the help forum.
