Valencia

A trip to Valencia for us, to experience the parades, music and noise of the bands and fireworks that are a part of Las Fallas.
Huge papier-mâché monuments (Fallas) are erected in the squares and crossroads of the city and ceremonially set alight at midnight on the night of the 19th March, San José, St Joseph's Day.
Here are some of the 'Fallaeras'....the women and girls in their traditional costumes....with their traditional hair styles and wonderfully decorative outfits.
