Evolution fail

How is it that we can transfuse blood, replace hearts, grow new muscles but not do a single thing to prevent teething agony.

Poor womster cried from 10:30-12:30 then 1:30-3:30 last night and this morning. We tried everything. Teething liquid, gel, powders. Calpol, nurofen, milk. Cuddles, lieing next to him, holding his hand, head, back, tummy..... Sitting up, lay down, everything. Nothing worked.
To say we have all, apart from Munchie, been zombiefied today is an understatement.
