Revolution

I am glad to read the Message of Joe Tree 3 hours ago, that there will be a big chance that Blip can continue after this turnaround in the company. Turnaround is the literally meaning of the word 'revolution'.

What you see here is the result of 4 years of quilting work of one of the ladies of our French Literature Group. It covers a big bed, the squares have the symbol of the French monarchy on them, sewn in are all the names of French authors we have been talking about in our sessions. The red shatters are symbol of the blood that flew when the French Revolution turned away the monarchy, all hand sewn on top of the squares. What an artistic work of love and great patience!

I hope there will be no blood flowing in Edinburg Blip Central:-)
