The sound of the suburbs

I thought I was going to get away with that cheap old standby the sunset shot today. All that was spoiled by some pesky mist that rolled up in the late afternoon.

Instead here's a bit if a nothing shot from the back balcony. There are a few nice springy touches if you look really hard - by that I mean the various flowers and not the little girl remorselessly bouncing on her trampoline in one of the gardens.

As to the sounds, well obviously there was the aforesaid bouncing but also the gentle roar of trains which pass behind the houses in the middle distance - thank goodness for double glazing!
