Have you seen this ( incase you don't have time to look through journals as I'm sure others have spread the word );

JOIN US TOMORROW!! MARCH 18TH! Take a photo of yourself with arms stretched wide (as if you were going to hold hands with the people next to you) and post as your blip for the day. Please make it a square photo with your hands right at the edge so when the photos are together, we will be holding hands!! Tag your image with ‪#‎blipfotoforever‬. A great show of solidarity....help us show everyone just how important Blipfoto is! Thank you Sally Ballantyne for the wonderful idea!! Spread the word...we need to get this out to everyone who blips!!

There are a lot of worries in Blipland what on earth is going on and even worse… How can we secure our photo's and write ups?

Before everyone starts to formate tiny good willing groups, maybe it's wiser to combine forces. 

Someone already added a tool to secure your files to wordpress, and even though I haven't tried it yet, it sounds as solid solution. Here's the link!

A good next step would be to set up a community database in which we blippers can share our Blipname / real name / mail address / city / country so in case of a shut down we can still get in touch with each other and maybe set up an alternative environment if necessary. Anybody got a good suggestion for this?
