Strawberries for Breakfast

Busy doing nothing sort of day.  We decided to have a large breakfast and a buffet late lunch so there was not a huge amount of work.  
Despite our heating still not working we did manage to stay cosy with the Aga and a fire in the sitting room.

The only blight on the day was when I learned that the chocolates and card that I had sent my mum had failed to arrive..  I later learned that the carers in the home had placed the package on top of her wardrobe and had forgotten to give it to her.  Poor mum she felt that she had to make up for the non arrival of her gift and described in great detail the contents of the yet to be received chocolate box.  Luckily they were located and given to her two days late.
