Close-up
To understand this blip it might help to take a look first at today's contribution by my friend CleanSteve.
I was a video cameraman for the afternoon while he demonstrated the art of frisbee throwing on a common near to where we live in Gloucestershire.
I learned two important things. Firstly, frisbee throwing is far from straightforward. It involves different grips, methods of throwing and ways of catching. Spin is also a feature and you have to learn how to deal with wind speed and direction.
The second thing I learned was that filming videos is not straightforward, either. It's certainly very different in many ways from stills photography, although it was lots of fun learning a new skill.
I just hope that my efforts were not disastrous enough to ruin Steve's efforts to make a frisbee training film.
Anyway, if you have looked at the photo on Steve's blip, the image above shows you what I was trying to achieve!
