Silver Blipmeet

While we visited a lot of temples and I was truly impressed with the bling of the Golden Pavilion I could not go past this shot J took of me and Gillsabroad at the Silver Temple in Kyoto.  How kind G was to travel to Kyoto to spend a lovely afternoon with us at the temple and then wandering down the path of Philosophy along with girls in their kimonos, other tourists and Kyoto folk, dogs walkers, cats, artists and stopping by the shops along the way.  A treat was the green tea icecream and finally the cafe with all those old cameras and the Mitsubishi sewing machine.  Perfect for a blipmeet even if the saucers were mixed and the almond milk lacked almonds.  What a wonderful community blip is as G said in her post today.
