Is it or is it not?

Our palm tree produced fruit last season much to my wife's consternation as she expected an influx of fruit bats at night. This didn't occur because by the time the bats were alerted the Lorikeets had eaten all the fruit. So, this is our argument, I think this photo shows the remains of the associated vegetation from the previous crop but Anne believes it is the beginning of a new fruit season. Time will tell.
Must round up a few Lorikeets just in case.
