Down by the river, where else on such day

Yes, this afternoon we headed for the river Varragill once again but this time we went prepared and we found a good spot to relax in and swim. The pools are really deep though the rocks are slippery. The water was surprisingly warm.

For a while I sat in this cascade with the water pouring over me. It was wonderful.

I also swam in the pool above the cascade. The water was so deep I could not touch the bottom.
