Common Grackle, Gargling

In past years when there's been a ton of snow - Common Grackles have shown up en masse along with the European Starlings and made absolute pigs of themselves. This year during the snows we did have a crowd of Starlings, but nary a Grackle. Until today! Today, amazingly, it was 80 degrees. I succumbed to the urge to grub about in the soil and went out and did a bit of clean up. And then when I was resting from my labors, I heard a sort of croak out front and went to look - and there was this Grackle. He helped himself to a bunch of peanuts, and then had a nice drink.
