Blossom

Another long day fighting the brambles. Some of them are thirty feet long, they grow up into the trees, loop over, come back down to earth, and root where they have touched the soil. Nothing else is getting done around here while we chop and burn them.
Sunny and cloudy today, and quite warm this afternoon, and the blossom is starting to burst into flower.
