Not Friday 13th is it?
Today needs to end. Soon.
I couldn't get up today. Mondayitis I guess.
Then, after being mildly concerned at not being able to renew my car tax return at the weekend, owing to a query about my MOT, I tried to dig my certificate out at lunchtime. When I couldn't find it, I thought back and couldn't remember getting it done either. Eek. After a call to my garage who couldn't find one either among my various services and repairs, I had to accept it - I haven't had a valid MOT since October! Nightmare. So over lunch I had to abandon work and hot foot it to the first garage that could fit me in, on five minutes' notice and hurriedly got it done. Thankfully it passed bar one bulb which will be sorted tomorrow morning. Phew! I'm blaming B for dying on me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I've been hugely lucky not to have had an accident as my insurance would have been invalid. And I could have had a massive fine too. Scary.
I didn't get back to the office til 3.45pm and everyone laughed. Hmmm. I had to laugh too, and work late to catch up as a result. Eh well.
Then I find Blipfoto is in liquidation and it is no clearer as to whether or not it is just a logical part of their deal with Polaroid or if it is the demise of the whole venture. I truly hope it isn't the latter but without reassurances from either Blip Central or Polaroid I can't help but assume the worst.
I've been advised to buy an external hard drive and to download the whole of my blip blog in case it disappears off our screens completely. Let's hope I get it done in time. In the meantime, I've had no option but to consider alternatives and have followed JohnH1989's lead and set up a 365Project account and may mirror on that or be forced to use it exclusively, if need be.
It's at times like these that I realise how much I rely on some of my social media and blip in particular, as it was such an important part of my life, my 365 project last year. I hope some clever bods can stage a takeover to keep it going if possible.
When I got home, I kept finding myself on edge. Aaaaggghhhh. It didn't stop me making a decent tea but I will have an early night as I have another round of garage visits before work tomorrow!
