Not a UFO , Just The Lanky Lad

 In the early hours of today I sat on my balcony taking  photos of an illuminated city . I never tire of the Funkturm .Beautiful each night with different colours .This week a silvery gold . Here you see the viewing platform and can actually peep inside .The moon was nowhere to be seen which was rather a shame as when she is, 'herself' and the 'Lanky Lad 'make a great team as like some stately dancer she floats behind him. The Funkturm ,150m tall , built in 1924 was officially opened in 1926 for the Great  German Radio Exhibition. Having survived WW2 it's now a protected monument and has a wonderful restaurant . At night approaching Berlin by air or car the sight of this tower is always spectacular .
