THE LONG VIEW

Seems I have been a little late to the party...only just now waking up to the news that Blip has gone into liquidation.  I can't find out any more on the net, so not sure what this may mean for us here.  Anyway, taking the long view, the site may go, I may lose all the journal entries, which was what I really cherished rather than the images.  But the beach will still be here.

We were 14 years married today, so the Prof took me out to lunch at Seamill and we had a gentle walk along the strand.  Arran was playing peek a boo and there was not much of a view, but there was still the mind expanding vastness of seas, sand and sky...

Later I wondered if the title should have been 'On the Beach', as there is a sense that we will all keep sending out our messages faithfully until the light goes out.
