Blip
Today was a very sad, if not unexpected, day. For more than six years I've been using blip and watched it grow and now fall. I was one of the people that put their hands in their pocket back in 2009 and followed Joe's dream. Blip has been good to me; my photography (believe it or not) has improved immeasurably but it's the people. I've made some incredible friendships on here that I'll take away from here come what may.
See the thing is I can walk away, I'll get paid this month, I'll get over it if the servers are turned off. What we have to think about now are the people that can't just turn to the next diversion, there are people whose lives have hit a really rough patch, people that have worked to add a little to our lives. I've met Joe and G and they came across as thoroughly nice and decent guys. We've peered into their lives, we know they are human, time to back off a bit and let things unfold. We at least owe them that.
If you read this Joe, all the best to you and the team.
