Foreshadowing

Back in the chapel for a couple of snaps today.  

I found the juxtaposition of this statue of Joseph and the crucifix in the background striking.  The statue, with the child reaching for the face, and the gaze fixed on the child, radiates such innocence in contrast with Christ on the cross. The chapel at the retreat center is a sight to behold!
