Castle Sinclair Girnigoe is a castle located about 3 miles north of Wick on the east coast of Caithness, Scotland. . It is considered to be one of the earliest seats of Clan Sinclair. This once impregnable medieval renaissance stronghold is now the most spectacular ruin in the North of Scotland and is the subject of  a preservation programme.
