Duck fest!!

A very windy day ....... a blooming cold wind too!

We had a brief visit to Frieston Shore reserve ....... even in the hide it was freezing!!! There were lots of ducks about ....... so here I give you 3 different species ....... Wigeon, Mallard & Tufted duck. The wind was making a real mess of the Tufted males 'hair-do'!!! :-)

I assume that by now everyone has heard the sad news that Blipfoto is officially in liquidation. It will be a very sorry day if we lose this community. If the worst should happen a lot of Blippers are planning to join the 365 project ...... I will do too.

In the meantime I intend to 'carry on blipping' & hope for the best. I do hope we will get some news from BlipCentral soon so that we know what is going to happen.

Update: Apparently if you merge with a bigger company the original company has to wind up. 
The other point is that if it is before the courts then the participants would be unable to comment in any way.
That may be an explanation for the silence.
Let's hope that is the case!
