Only if it is

I thought long and hard about this shot given that it is not over till the final bell. However it is a serious situation and I would rather look back and laugh at how much I panicked than regret that I had let things go without a message being left.
I feel sadness for Joe and the team as it is unlikely to remain his baby. It was however his dream that brought us all together and he can be mighty proud of that. He can also be mighty proud at the number of people who started here knowing little about photography and are now accomplished. I also learned about birds thanks to this site.
I am pleased that I will remain connected to many of my friends through 365 project where I have been running another journal for a while now and also Flickr. I have email addresses from those who do not want to continue the journey just now.

I will be back posting tomorrow and every tomorrow blipfoto continues, but if we do not continue or do not have a graceful close down of this site I have at least had the chance to thank Joe for daring to make his dream a reality for all of us!
