I must admit to feeling a tad jaded on the Blipfoto front. I just wish someone somewhere would say something, anything, just to let us know what's going on.
It feels like a relative has gone into surgery and there is no news about how the operation went or is going. I was in that situation once with a parent and the longer the news is in coming, the worse the imagination.
With the weather matching my mood I sought Blip inspiration in the Dovecot Gallery.
The Norwegian Magne Furuholmen has a large exhibition there, entitled 'Peeling a Glass Onion'. The accompanying brochure is, to me, in artistic babble, but I gleaned that this room exhibits what are called ceramic 3D paintings. On the surface of the clay are stampings and scratched text of different poetic association of words. On the wall are paintings depicting his interpretation of what portraits should be.......I think!
I like the contradiction in this blip between the human and the inanimate vase.
