Mono Monday – Corners
I left it rather late to look for a MM image, so I thought quickly of cobwebby corners (I have a few of those!). I headed down to the shed (always good for cobwebs), but found a St Andrews Cross spider (Argiope Keyserlingi) sitting in a corner on the outside of the shed instead. As the name suggests, the spider builds a web with these zig zigging cross shaped silk threads (stabilimentum) which extend into the corners (except webs don't have corners – but they look like corners? sort of??) The web is in a corner...
