The Calm after the Storm

Ooo boy, was it windy today.  The Pineapple Express showed up and after yesterday's rain, the wind came today.  It was actually rather warm, since this blew in from the tropics, so I had the back sliding door open and was watching the fir trees whip around and listening to the roaring of the wind through the trees.  It was quite invigorating, sort of.  Trees came down, as per the usual wind storm damage, and one woman was very lucky not to be killed when a tree fell on her car.  I love storms but don't want anyone to be hurt or have damage, of course.  

Before I forget, as I did yesterday, thank you again for Friday's wonderful turnout to my 1500th Party.  I had a grand time.  

And, our new refrigerator has been in our house for a few days now, and I want to report that we love it.  It's so nice to open the door, and have all that wonderful light inside the fridge.  These new models have bigger and better LED lighting....no dark corners for UFO's (unidentified foiled objects) to lurk.  I still have to get back some of my freezer items that I cached away in my aunt's freezer....then we'll be all moved in.
