The 2mm flower

I've decided that I have to try and photograph the tiniest flowers I can find.  This afternoon I was pottering around outside and came across one of the native bushes that had decided it was time to bloom.  The flowers are only 2mm in diameter and I thought, this is a challenge.

It's like looking at life under a microscope and I was so enthralled when I was able to focus in on these minute little flowers.

I think Macro is going to be one of my favourite forms of photography.  It truly is another world.

Couldn't be more excited.  Paladian and Rower arrive in the Blue Mountains late this afternoon and I will have four days trotting around with one of my blip heroes.  Next week Osuzanna will also be visiting us so it's going to be a fantastic couple of weeks for this little blipper!!
