The girls and I drove out to the ocean house today to join the rest of the crew. But the winds were way too strong to go outside. That didn't stop Miles from asking every 1/2 hour if he could go to the beach, go fly his kite, or go outside. Miles instead worked on puzzles, drew pictures and played trucks.
On the drive home later in the day, Miles told Mitch, "daddy you need to watch where you're going" since Mitch was driving in a perfectly straight stretch of road, we asked why he said that. Miles told us because he saw dad look out the side window. He continued on, "you need to watch where you're going so you don't bonk into something. Mommy you need to watch too" Mitch jokingly asked Miles if he wanted to drive. Miles said, "I can't drive yet I'm not a big boy. I'm just a crazy kid"
Miles...you speak the truth.
