Lovely day at home with my youngest, she spent most of it reading to me or playing games with me. And an added bonus of having a lie-in until 9am. And, as a Mother's Day treat, the girls chose a chinese take away for dinner.

Thought about my mum today. Well, I thought more about how we didn't have the best of relationships and maybe I could've done things differently. But I guess my idea of happy was not as materialistic as hers, so we would always clash on those things. I had many a handmade thing I did for her go unappreciated; but buy her a necklace or earrings and she was happy for months.
