Rapunzel

Katie has been looking forward to this morning. She spent ages yesterday making me a wee card, which she put beside my bed last night for this morning. She spent time doing some more pictures first thing, after she gave me the card. I told her she had a surprise on Lola (our mannequin) and she went in to see it. She squealed with delight and ran back in, hurling herself into my arms saying "thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Mid morning we went over to Scarborough. We had a time working through backing up processes for my journal and my dads. We had a lovely lunch. Katie and I headed off to the Princess Party for my niece's 4th birthday. Katie has been loving swirling in her new skirt. It makes for incredible swirling!! Katie had a brilliant time. Rapunzel came!! This was the very first time that Katie didnt freak, and indeed loved, a character. She wouldn't talk to her for a while, she was totally in awe, but then was excited when she got chosen to count with Rapunzel for a game of hide and seek and chatted to her after that. She had a lovely play with her cousins before we went back for tea with Grandad and Granny. 

I had been spoiled with treats and cards, lovely meals and the happiest of happy little ladies today. A wonderful day. 

In other news, my girl (and I!) also appear in my dad's 365 today!!!!
