Preparing to move

Henry currently has a very small bedroom, so one of the positive things about our move is that he gets a bigger room!

However, getting him to pack everything up is proving a challenge! He shares my 'untidy gene' and his room is a nightmare! Today he managed a bit of packing....well that's what he said! The room looked the same to me!

This week we received confirmation of his school place from Norfolk County Council; a good job as I've already bought the uniform. This evening I filled in an online application for his bus pass, which is free! I also started sewing his name into the uniform. 

I also packed up the contents of my other glass cabinet into many boxes, sorted and emptied a cupboard with all my guide stuff in it, plus emptied then promptly re-filled a box of work related notes. It brought back too many work memories so I couldn't bring myself to sort it.

Onward and upward - 2 weeks to go until the move! Happy Mothering Sunday all :-)
