Old school

I have photo albums, of course, but not of recent years. This one dates from younger more foolish times in the mid-90s. Nowadays blip is my photo album. Long may it last. Though even as I say that in my head know I do so more in hope than expectation.

I have all my entries backed up now in four (nearly) different ways. So my memories are safe. But the community? For all our Facebook, Flickr, email and 365project contingencies, if blip goes nothing else will be the same. I'm surprised how bereft that makes me feel.

In other news, life goes on.

Our guests left unconscionably early to go home; it poured all day; CarbBoy spent most of the day getting wet; and I saved my life, four times.
