Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Aa a huge storm was to hit the South coast of Iceland we decided that it wasn't particularly clever to drive along a region that had fairly loose volcanic rock on the beaches by the road that we were to drive along. The sensible thing was to stay put in Vik and head out to the coastal areas. These sea stacks are a famous landmark and despite some pretty strong winds we got a great view from the top of the cliffs overlooking the black beach.
