I'm inside cooling off. Me and the heat aren't doing too well. All energy sapped; hands and feet swollen. YUK
Had a wonderful spa day yesterday with Helen (thanks Helen - loved it) exfoliated, massaged and generally pampered. Nails done. Feel great.
Tonight is to be given over to catching up so hope to speak to you later.
These are 2 large red damselflies starting the life cycle all over again (they've only just emerged!!). The pond and the reservoir are covered with azure and blue-tailed damselflies so these red damselflies stood out markedly.
I can't believe how much the lawn has grown in the couple of days I've been away. Managed to get them cut this morning after returning from the reservoir (no fishermen today). GC grebes have 2 eggs left on the nest so I'm assuming they now have 2chicks but so far haven't been able to spot the second.
Work tomorrow so had better go back out and tidy up the garden.
Speak later. :))
