Run...

Lovely morning for a walk on the beach - Cheswick Beach this week. Cloudy, but dry and still. Several of these little birds - sanderlings, I think - skittering along the water's edge. Got as close as I dared before taking a few shots, but as soon as they spotted me they all ran, as fast as they could, in to the distance.

On our way to do the weekly shop, a chance encounter in a car park was  cause for some guarded optimism for Mr M and me. Hopefully, more on that in a week or two, Blipfriends.

A few hours in the garden this afternoon - planting pansies and violas in the tubs, aways an enjoyable task - before a delicious roast dinner cooked by Mr M.
