365 Project?!!

The rumours are getting worse, the chitchat is becoming more alarming, and all anyone seems to be talking about; is how to save all our Blips but that’s far too techie for us.  If we lose more than 1564 photographs, write ups & comments Ann will be more than angry??  ………………….She will be ‘ranting’ for the rest of her life!!!

Is BLIP going into liquidation, is the site going to close down?  Who knows?

We know that rumours cannot always be believed.  We watch ‘Jeremy Kyle’.

……….But Ann was in the Guides and the guide motto is ‘Be Prepared’.

Sooooo in preparation of BLIP disappearing off the face of the earth; we have signed up for the '365 Project'.  Haven’t actually uploaded any photos yet, because much as we still hate the new ‘polaroid/blip’ site; we love the people who we’ve met through BLIP.  But if the worst happens; my username on '365' is 'MollyCollie'.

And for our last day in Edinburgh we have had a fabulous time.

Met Nellie, the cocker spaniel, for a walk around Harlaw Reservoir this morning.  Her owner, ‘Padstowbabe’ is one of the very lovely people who we originally met through BLIP and is now a ‘real life’ friend.  Unfortunately she stopped blipping after the Polaroid takeover.  They live in the highlands of Scotland, we live in Cornwall but we were both in Edinburgh this weekend and amazingly the only time we both had free was this morning.  We have made such lovely friends on BLIP.

This afternoon I got taken on another long walk and then Ann’s friend, Iain, popped in to see me.  I haven’t seen Iain for ages and he made a huge fuss of me.  And then I had to stay ‘home alone’ while Ann & Iain popped out for an early evening drink.  Not sure I like ‘city pubs’??  In St Ives I always get taken to the pub if Ann is going out early evening.

However, now Ann is back.  We’ll be watching ‘Poldark’ at 9pm and then it will be bedtime.

We’ve had a fabulous few days in Edinburgh.
