Down by the river

East Farleigh, above the lock and bridge. I went for a walk but didn't get far because it was very cold and the drizzle was the invasive type that soaks through everything.

Like everyone else I've been trying to follow the rumours about the demise of Blip but they seem based on a lack of blippage from Blip central and stuff based on a friend's mother's window-cleaner who overheard something while shopping at the Co-op but he might have been mistaken. I'm refusing to worry about this because I cannot affect it but I'll be sorry if Blip is falling over. For those who want to back-up previous blips there is a cool Python script available in the Blip group on Facebook; it's an open group so you should be able to see it. the creator of the script has also mentioned it on his blip. I know that some folk are pulling away from Blip until they know what is happening, Including my amigo Bensholto, but I'm sticking around to listen to the fat lady if that's the way things pan out. On which note - duck with an orange and lemon sauce, Anya potatoes finished in butter, roast fennel with olives, mashed carrots & parsnips and a nice glass of wine to wash it down. That's the plan so I'd better go and get stuff finished.
