Muttley's Musings

Ginger and Blondie

I decided to head out for a bike ride this morning, even if it was a bit dull and grey. It was also a bit of a scouting mission for next weekend for when the funeral cortège of King Richard III passes through the local area en-route into Leicester.

It was good being out on the bike, but there wasn't a great deal that caught my eye until I happened up on these two chilling out and having a lazy Sunday morning. Obviously they are called Ginger and Blondie.

Over the last few days it's become apparent that things might not be rosy at Blip Central. There have been no communications since the beginning of the month, and people are getting concerned. There are lots of rumours and ideas appearing on the discussion forums. If the wonderful world of blip is coming to an end I would be sad as I have learnt so much and my photography has improved in the two years, but I will also miss the great community spirit  that I have found here.

I would direct you to the excellent posting by Earthdreamer who has always posted reasoned and considered postings regarding the changes and now the rumours that are currently circulating. In order to maintain a link to the community spirit I have also joined up with the Blipfoto Friends group on Facebook.

Fingers crossed that we are over reacting and that Blip Central are just having a chill out after all of the work they have put into the new site.

Hopefully I'll see you guys tomorrow.
