Lighthouse Keepers' Cottages

There are no lighthouse keepers any more at Crail, but these cottages remain.  I liked the contrast between the old wall and the 1970s style buildings.  

We walked a circular route round Fife Ness today.  From Sandcastle Cottage, out past Kilminning and on to Fife Ness, then up along the edge of Crail Golf Course, and on to Cambo by which time I was in need of refreshment.  We headed for Kingsbarns Distillery where we enjoyed lunch in the cafe. By the time we made it back to Crail we'd clocked up 11 miles.  Do you think we'll be at Marathon distances by 3 May?  It feels unlikely at present.  We certainly won't be doing it at any speed.
