Musical May - West Side Story - Nah, Luton Airport

West Side Story is a musical which was inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The feuding families have been replaced by 2 gangs - the Jets and the Sharks.

So, to my interpretation. I could have gone to one local branch of Sainsbury's - which was built on the site of the West Side Shopping Centre (which housed such important shops as the Green Shield Stamp shop!). Now, that would have been pretty tenuous!.

So instead on the theme of the 2 gangs, a Jet, landing at Luton Airport, and in the title a reminder of that famous advertisement for Campari with Lorraine Chase (who doesn't come from Luton, and neither does she speak with a Luton accent - she's a Cockney).

Did I say the 2 gangs?...........
