DIE TO LIVE

This wonderful sculpture is on the path in West Ayton ridden by L on Mr H. The weir in the background is home to a Heron - his local fishing ground.
The top two thirds of this Cherry Tree were dead - so neighbours paid to have the base turned into this grand design - two herons, one owl and a tiny door in the base for a mouse !
