Earlier on in the week I saw on the Cumbria Crack site that a container had fallen from a freight train in this area, I recognised the exact spot from the number of times we have sat down this road watching steam trains. I was surprised however to see it was still there when we arrived on Saturday morning.
After the steam train passed, the farmer with some helpers and a folk lift truck arrived and removed the container, which was very interesting to watch. Imagine it has now become a shed of some sort on the farm.
