Through The Wall

We spent most of today travelling around on the S-Bahn, getting good rooftop views of Berlin and stopping off wherever the fancy took us.
From Ostbahnhof, we walked down to the East Side Gallery: a 1.3 km stretch of the Berlin Wall which has been transformed into the world's largest open-air mural collection. This one, 'Test The Rest' by Birgit Kinder, shows a Trabant bursting through the Wall with the licence plate reading 'November 9, 1989', the day the barrier was shattered.
