Congratulations

Day 2 in Hoi An. A guide took us on a walking tour of the old town in the morning. It was fascinating as it has been subject to Chinese, Japanese, French as well as Vietnamese influences.

Some places we visited were very commercial influences so it was 10% history and architecture and 90% hard sell. The guide called it product tourism. We were shown how silk was made ...

We returned in the evening when all sorts of things were going on. Including taking wedding photos. Not sure the kids were all that interested in what was going on.
