Invitation declined

A pretty bouquet in a vase was delivered yesterday. Normous answered the door and invited the lady to come in and have a chat with me. She declined the invitation. " I don't know who she was" said Normous, "probably one of your WI ladies". It turned out she was just delivering flowers from the florist!
The flowers are from my dear son J, for Mothering Sunday, or Mothers Day as we must now call it. It is a very pretty bouquet and had a loving card accompanying it.
I'm so lucky to have my son, but on this day I also remember my own dear mother and my precious daughter too.
