The Living Years

View from the bus

Was woken up at 6.45 as the boys crept in. Turns out I fell asleep on the sofa and my party had carried on without me! Once they had settled down I went back to sleep. When we finally woke up we enjoyed a couple of hours, having breakfast and sitting in the sunshine.

I went home and fell asleep again!

Quickly packed my bags and went to the bus. Unusually I couldn't sleep on the bus so spent the 3.5 hour journey looking out the window. Now we're well into spring the countryside is full of a glorious mixture of greens. I saw a million poppies, 2 gardens full of sheep, a man with a bicycle balanced on the back of his bicycle, a building with about 10 nests with house martins swooping backwards and forwards, beautiful cloud formations, a super duck landing on a small stream, a horse being ridden behind a petrol station and a funny little house/shed. Unfortunately while looking through the dirty windows of a coach at some speed it was hard to capture most of these things.

When I got to Veszprem L and I went to a restaurant, sat outside and had a lovely dinner watching the sky slowly become darker. I love the blankets you get in restaurants over here so even if it gets a bit nippy you can stay outside. This makes a nice change as we never eat out and I miss it.

Got to his halls and fell asleep! Again!

(There you go I have finished all the back blipping for the last 3 crazy days. Written on Sunday.)
