Wobbly
On our way home from a hectic weekend of photography we stopped off at Sofala, another old gold mining town, not far from Hill End.
There are remnants of the goldfield era and I don't think much has happened since then, though, like Hill End it's a mecca for artists of all kinds, especially painters.
Not hard to see where Wobbly got his nickname.
He was very happy to chat and I'm sorry I didn't go back to the car for the better lens.
I don't know what he's been doing in Sofala for thirty five years, but he seemed pretty happy with his life choices.
