Sunday is golf day :-)

Way too hot for golf though! The course was heaving, and there were some really slow players out today, so we ending up taking over 4 and a half hours to get round.

This swan had built a nest on an island in the middle of a pond on the 10th hole where they were very lucky to survive the regular bombardment coming their way.

Having safely hatched, they were going for a little swim in another pond - this one on the right hand side of the 8th fairway. Kevin came mightly close to murdering this lovely creature with a loose shot. At least I had the good grace to lose my golf balls in the second pond!

Water on a golf course is far too expensive :-(
